About Amer

India is called jagadguru (Teacher of the world) and amer is a small town in India. It is existed in arawali range of mountains.The area of Dhundhar is now known as Jaipur. Yet dhundhari language is spoken by peoples of Jaipur in Rajasthan.

The land of dhundhar was ruled by clan of Meena. By clan of Meena the state of Amber was founded. On the name of Lord Shiva temple Ambekeshwar Mahadev the state name Amber is stated. Amer is also known as Amber

By the time it was later captured by the Kachwaha Rajputs around 1036 or 1037 AD. In war against meena. And the land of Amer was developed by Kachwaha Rajputs. Where they built various temple,mansion,jaigarh fort,kesar kyari,amer palace also known as amer fort. Amer fort is also a part of world heritage. Rajasthan is also called as Rajputana. After the freedom of India now it is a part of Municipal Corporation of jaipur. Jaipur is also known as pink city.
